Quick Look: non 'eco acid' wash

As if re-writing the rules of denim with a selvedge tracksuit wasn't enough, non continue to push the envelope on innovative ways to develop without sacrificing their core beliefs. This new drop, which has just arrived for High Summer, is called the 'eco acid' wash, and it's not exactly what you'd imagine it to be.

Where traditional acid washes use harmful chemicals in a bleach treatment, non's new wash is organic, biodegradable and hazardous chemical free. Individually dying each piece in a cold water based enzyme treatment - which is used for multiple styles to reduce water & energy consumption - the process results in a unique washed appearance, already looking like it's been your favourite jacket or jean before it even hits your shoulders or hips.

Available from August 1st in non's signature Relaxed Jean, Pocket Jacket and Tote Bag on the non website. If like us, you prefer something extra special (particularly if it's a wide fitting trouser), then you can grab the Wide Jean, exclusive to SSENSE.

Peep the photos below in the meantime to get a better idea of how the 'eco acid' collection has shaped up.
